This stroll through Belleville and Ménilmontant will enable us to see works made by some of the pioneers of street art in France, like Nemo or Jérôme Mesnager. We will also discuss thehistory of street art, its relationship to graffiti and its numerous codes and techniques. We will also meet renown contemporary street artists like Hopare and Seth and will discover the latest styllistic trends in these artists’ work, as well as their relationship to art galleries and museums and their collaborations with other artists.
The route will start in the Oberkampf quarter in front of the M.U.R and will go from there to the multicultural streets of the Belleville quarter for us to see one of the symbols of Parisian graffiti: Denoyez street.
